The aim of Countdown is to find the longest word you can from the nine letters. This version is based on the Channel 4 TV show, but there is one big difference: you do not pick the letters, and there is always a nine-letter word.
Can you find today's word? If not, what is the longest word you can get? Can you beat your friends?
Once the music has stopped, you have an extra 15 seconds to finish entering your word. Good luck!

Every letter can be used once. Your word must be at least 3 letters long and appear in the dictionary.

The nine letters come from today's secret nine-letter challenge word. Use them to build the longest valid word you can.
